Prescription Types
Within the Dispensary 
screen, the following indicate the prescription type selected.

England - Standard paper prescription form |

Scotland - Standard paper prescription form |
|
Wales - Standard paper prescription form |
|
Private - Standard private prescription form, see Dispensing a Private Prescription for details. |
To change the prescription form when dispensing:
- Double click on the prescription form indicator and the Select Dispensary Supply Form screen displays:
- Tick Display forms for my PPA only to display options for your country only.
- Double click on the form type you require, or highlight it and select OK.
Note - For
nurses authorised to prescribe from the Nurse Prescribers' Extended
Formulary list ensure you select the appropriate form with NIP in brackets.
The indicator updates to reflect the form selected.
Once the prescription for this patient is completed, Pharmacy Manager returns to the default prescription type as set in Pharmacy Details - Dispensing - Defaults.

Note - You cannot update the form type defined by an electronic message
(EPS, CMS or AMS) or a barcoded prescription.
