Selecting a Patient

To select a patient:

  1. From any screen with a Patient search, from the Patient/Product search, enter all or part of the patient name, for example:
    • The first name and last name, for example, Annie Apple.

    • The last name, followed by the initial, for example, Apple A.
    • Any part of the surname or first name, for example, Ann App.

  2. Press <Enter>, Find Patient displays:

  3.  A list of available patients that match your criteria displays. Highlight the patient required and select OK.
Note - If the patient does not exist in Pharmacy Manager, the name entered displays in red. Select Add to create a new patient record, see Adding a New Patient for details.
