Selecting a Vaccination Type

The Vaccinations Service - Vaccination Type screen displays once you select a patient and start a Vaccinations Service.

Complete the following sections:

You must record the patient or the patient's representative consent to receive the service and share information.

To record consent:

  1. Select VIEW DATA SHARING DETAILS to display the Consent for Service Delivery screen.

  2. Select Close to exit the Consent for Service Delivery screen and return to the Consent section.

  3. In the Consent section, select either:

    • Yes - To record that the patient/representative consents receive the service and share information, or

    • No - To record that the patient/representative does not consent to receive the service and share information, and then select CLOSE . The episode saves to the Vaccinations Service Completed tab.

  4. Confirm if consent was provided by the patient themselves, select either:

    • Yes - To record that the patient provided consent themselves and continue to the Vaccinations section, or

    • No - To record that a representative provided consent. In the Consent provided by section, select an option from the available list.

  1. Choose the vaccination(s) the patient wishes to receive. If required, you can select Flu and COVID-19:

    • Flu

    • COVID-19

Enter the Patient Emergency Contact details if required.

Note - This section is optional.

When complete, select either:

  • SAVE & EXIT - To save the episode and exit to the Vaccinations Service screen. The episode is not completed and can be updated at a later date from the Vaccinations Service screen.

  • CONTINUE - To move on to the Clinical Screening screen.
