Pharmacy First (Formerly CPCS)

There are currently two services provided through Pharmacy First (Formerly CPCS):

• Minor Illness/Clinical Pathways

• Urgent Medicines Supply

Accessing Pharmacy First Referrals

To access Pharmacy First Referrals in your pharmacy:

1. From the Pharmacy Services Side Navigation Bar select Pharmacy First .

   The Pharmacy First Referrals screen displays:

   

2. From the Pharmacy First Referrals screen you can:

   • View active referrals.

   • Create a referral.

   • View completed or closed Pharmacy First Referrals.

Pharmacy First Referrals Statuses

There are six Pharmacy First Referrals statuses:

• New - The referral is yet to be opened.

• Pending - The referral has been opened but not yet started.

• In Progress - The referral is started and is in progress.

• Overdue - The referral is received but not started:

  • For Urgent Medicines Supply the referral displays as overdue if the consultation is not started within 30 minutes.

  • For Minor Illness/Clinical Pathways the referral displays as overdue if the consultation is not started within 12 hours.

• Completed - A consultation has been created and the referral is complete.

• Closed - The referral is closed and no consultation was created.
